Becoming cloudy early in the night but the cloud will tend to break again during the early hours. Some light showers are not ruled out on the west coast and by dawn, inland too.

Tuesday

Becoming breezy tomorrow morning with overcast skies and spells of showery rain. Turning drier in the afternoon with some brief brightness but winds will strengthen with heavy rain by the evening.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

On Wednesday morning, there will be a mix of sunny spells and scattered blustery showers, these more scarce in the afternoon before longer spells of rain spread in from the west overnight into Thursday morning. On Thursday afternoon, the rain should clear to showers, wintry on hills. Friday looks set to remain windy and unsettled with variable cloud and showers, some wintry.
