Tonight will remain unsettled and breezy with plenty of cloud and spells of showery rain spreading eastwards. In the early hours, cloud will break up to reveal clear intervals and it will turn drier.

Tomorrow will see a mix of variable amounts of cloud and occasional showers feeding in from the west, these most frequent along the western and northern coasts. Rather breezy, and a little cooler.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday

Saturday looks to start sunny but patches of cloud and scattered showers are expected to develop in the afternoon. Showers easing by evening. Slightly cooler. Sunday is set to see early sunny spells replaced by cloudy skies and heavy rain developing from the north. Turning breezier. Monday should be a mainly cloudy day with the risk of some light rain edging in from the north.
