- Always keep a tracker or food diary each day of the food you have eaten.
- Drink plenty of water - at least 8 glasses per day
- Always eat breakfast.
- Fill up on plenty of fruit & veg - at least 5 portions per day
- Don't expect miracle results. 1 - 2 lbs per week is a healthy weight loss.
- Take time to plan.
- Get sweaty! Do some exercise, maybe try something new either on your own or with a friend, but make sure it's something that you enjoy.
- Avoid people who put you down.
- Take time to chew your food properly and enjoy what you are eating.
- Don't do it alone. Always stay at the meeting to get the help and encouragement you deserve.
