Wales reach last four in sevens
Arwel Thomas
Arwel Thomas scored a try in the quarter-finals
Wales continued their run of good form into the second day at the World Sevens Series at Twickenham.

They came from behind to beat Argentina 19-10 and book their place in the Cup semi-finals.

Santiago Gomez Cora put the Argentinians ahead after just three minutes and they extended their lead to 10 points when Martin Schusterman crossed midway through the first half.

But the Welsh closed the gap with a try from Andy Powell, and that was converted by Arwel Thomas to go into the break just three points behind.

And in the second half it was all one-way traffic as Emyr Lewis touched down in the corner with Thomas adding the extras.

Thomas then rounded things off with Wales' third try, touching down in the right-hand corner following a mistake by the Argentines.

They now meet Series winners New Zealand in the last four.

Wales went through their pool unbeaten on Friday, beating Fiji 28-26, Scotland 40-12 and Russia 28-7.
