Paidi O Se has yet to decide whether to remain on as Kerry football manager.

The Kerry boss is struggling to contain his bitter disappointment in the wake of Kerry's second half collapse in Sunday's All-Ireland Football Final.

O Se has a year of his contract remaining and the Kerry county board are determined that he should stay on in the role.

However, the Kerry boss told the Star newspaper that he needed time to think over his future with the Kingdom squad.

"I am no Mick ODwyer or Sean Boylan - there are other things to life," said O Se.

Meanwhile, Bertie Og Murphy has quit as manager of the Cork senior hurlers after serving just one year of his two-year term.

Donegal appeals

Cork had a disappointing summer with a defeat against Waterford in the Munster Championships followed by a further reverse against Galway in the Qualifiers.

There was also discontent allegations within the squad that younger players had been discouraged from joining the Gaelic Players Association.

Meanwhile, the Ulster Council will on Thursday evening hear two appeals connected with this year's controversial Donegal Championship.

Killybegs are appealing against their removal from the Donegal Championship for allegedly fielding ineligible player Peter McGinley.

Ardara are also claiming that St Eunan's Eddie Brennan should not have been allowed to play in the Donegal SFC match between the clubs.
