O'Hagan set to quit
Barry O'Hagan did well after he was introduced as a substitute
Barry O'Hagan holds the Sam Magure Cup aloft
Armagh footballer Barry O'Hagan is unlikely to be involved in the county's defence of their All-Ireland title in 2003.

O'Hagan made the revelation after Armagh's emotional All-Ireland Final victory over Kerry at Croke Park on Sunday.

"I'll definitely not be back next year," O'Hagan told the BBC.

The forward quit the county panel last year but was then coaxed back into the squad by Armagh boss Joe Kernan.

This makes all the travelling worthwhile
Barry O'Hagan

O'Hagan performed superbly after he was introduced as a substitute for John McEntee in Sunday's decider.

The Clan na Gael clubman is now based in county Donegal.

"It's very hard to take in that we've won the All-Ireland," said O'Hagan.

"Some of us have been working for this for 10 years but this makes all the travelling worthwhile.

"We're no longer the bridesmaids. We've proved we're the best in Ireland".
