The 24-year-old was drafted into Berti Vogts' selection after Tottenham goalkeeper Neil Sullivan broke his finger in training. Alexander, who kept two clean sheets for Cardiff over the Bank Holiday, started his career with Stenhousemuir before securing a move to Livingston.
