Lawrence will take a look at Nacio

Cardiff City manager Lennie Lawrence has handed Nacho Zaragoza a one week trial with the Bluebirds.

The 23-year-old player comes from Spanish side Alavaes and is a highly rated right sided midfielder.

Zaragoza will join promotion hunting Cardiff on Sunday and will hope to impress City boss Lawrence.

The talented midfielder, full name Ignacio Zaragoza Moreno de Arcos, is looking to kick start his career with a move to the UK following the death of his mother

Cardiff have requested international clearance which would enable Zaragoza to play in a reserve match on Wednesday.

"He has the ability to play in The Premiership and there are some La Liga clubs who are keeping tabs on him - as they know what he is capable of," his agent Gino Culbertson explained.

"He wants to move over here and he has the chance to do that."
