| Hulse named Rhyl manager Rhyl FC have announced that assistant manager John Hulse is to take over the reins at Belle Vue. Earlier this month Lee Williams left his post as manager with the club by mutual agreement, having led them to a sixth-place finish - their highest ever in the League of Wales. Hulse has former management experience with rivals Bangor City and Conwy, as well as with Football Conference side Altrincham. "We can now look forward to a new season with optimism," said club chairman Peter Parry. "In John we have a man of vast experience and one whose man-management skills we were well aware of." Hulse's new contract will initially run for one year, as the club looks to consolidate its success. The club had looked into the possibilities of quitting the League of Wales and joining the the English pyramid system, but their overtures were rebuffed by the Football Association. | See also: 01 May 02 | League of Wales 11 Mar 02 | League of Wales Top League of Wales stories now: Links to more League of Wales stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
