John Martin scored the winner with just two minutes remaining as Leyton Orient dented Bury's promotion hopes with a shock win at Gigg Lane.

Martin rifled home from the edge of the penalty area after substitutes Jabo Ibehre and Chris Tate were involved in the move.

Michael Nelson went close with two headers for the hosts, before Jon Newby, who has scored 11 goals this season, drilled an effort just wide in the second half.

Shakers goalkeeper Glyn Garner was called into action twice in quick succession late on to keep out efforts from Andrew Harris and Martin, who had the last word.
