Bristol Rovers remain rooted to the bottom of the Football League after the goalless draw with Bournemouth.

It could have been worse for Ray Graydon's side when James Hayter's effort for Bournemouth was controversially ruled out, referee Scott Matheson spotting some pushing.

It was one of few chances in a dour scrap, with struggling Rovers failing to force a single testing save from Bournemouth goalkeeper Neil Moss.

The visitors had the best chances, with the dangerous Warren Feeney firing wide just before the break and Marcus Browning's second-half header tipped over by Scott Howie.

Rovers were better after the break but could not break the visitors down.
