| Thursday, 13 February, 2003, 00:43 GMT Kidderminster 3-2 Bury Kidderminster shook off their recent poor run of form to get their season back on track with a dramatic victory over Bury - their first win of the year. They were in front after 21 minutes when midfielder Sean Parrish ran on to Kenny Coleman's low cross, beat defender Steve Redmond to the ball and fired home. Sean Flynn's through-ball then found Andy Bishop and the on-loan striker made no mistake with a shot into the top corner to put the home side two up before the break. Bishop got his second on the hour, running on to another Flynn pass and slotting home from the edge of the area. The visitors staged a late comeback and got back in the game when substitute Ian Lawson picked up a loose ball to score. And with two minutes remaining Steve Redmond hit Bury's second with a low free-kick which went straight through the wall. But the Harriers held on to claim a valuable three points. Kidderminster: Brock, Coleman, Smith, Hinton, Bennett, Flynn, Williams, Parrish, Shilton, Henriksen, Bishop. Subs: Foster, Danby, Ducros, Ayres, Hodge. Bury: Garner, Swailes, Redmond, Woodthorpe, Unsworth, Dunfield, Billy, Clegg, Stuart, Newby, Cramb. Subs: Preece, Nugent, Lawson, O'Shaughnessy, Nelson. Referee: M Thorpe (Suffolk) |
