| Thursday, 13 February, 2003, 01:14 GMT Oldham 1-3 Crewe Rob Hulse's double took his seasons tally to 22 goals as promotion hopefuls Crewe recorded a superb win away to 10-man Oldham. After Fitz Hall had been dismissed on 28 minutes for a foul on Steve Jones, Hulse put Crewe ahead on the hour. Oldham defender Chris Armstrong scored his first goal for nearly two years to level four minutes later. Armstrong rifled the ball through a ruck of players past unsighted substitute goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson, who replaced injured Danny Milosevic after 50 minutes. Crewe defender Paul Tierney hit the woodwork with a thumping effort from 30 yards, but Hulse put his side ahead again with a brilliant low drive after 86 minutes. Substitute Dean Ashton wrapped things up with another superb finish two minutes later. Oldham: Pogliacomi, Hall, Haining, Beharall, Murray, Baudet, Eyre, Armstrong, Eyres, Burgess, Andrews.
