| Tuesday, 11 February, 2003, 23:06 GMT Swindon 2-1 Wigan Second Division leaders Wigan lost in the league for the first time since August when they lost at Swindon. Captain Andy Gurney got Swindon's winner when he wrapped up the points with a superbly struck volley 10 minutes before half-time. Gurney thumped the ball home from 10 yards after racing on to top scorer Sam Parkin's header. Swindon had taken the lead after 24 minutes when Australian Danny Invincibile fired home his second goal in four games after Gurney had knocked midfielder Matt Hewlett's ball into his path. Lee McCulloch pulled a goal back for Wigan after 55 minutes when he headed the ball past Swindon keeper Bart Griemink after Nicky Eaden had crossed from the right.
