| Thursday, 13 February, 2003, 00:32 GMT Notts County 0-2 Plymouth A goal in each half from David Norris gave Plymouth a welcome success after two straight defeats. After surviving an early onslaught from County, the visitors enjoyed the majority of possession. But they had to thank Romain Larrieu, who produced a brilliant save to deny Danny Allsopp. Paul Heffernan also hit the underside of the crossbar, but Plymouth grabbed the initiative after 38 minutes when Ian Stonebridge struck the post and Norris tucked away the rebound. Norris, a December signing from Bolton, stretched the lead five minutes after the break. Despite Nick Fenton again hitting the Plymouth woodwork there was no way back for County. The hosts did have a late opportunity but Ian Baraclough headed wide from six yards.
