Hicham Aboucherouane was Raja's two goal hero after scoring both goals in his side's 2-1 away victory against Jeanne d'Arc of Senegal in Dakar.

With two successive wins in Group A of the competition, they're still strongly in contention for a semi-final place.

Aboucherouane side footed the opening goal in the 12th minute after a cross from the left by Moroccan international Noureddine Kacemi.

Aboucherouane, added the second just before half time.

Jeanne d'Arc pulled a goal back within a minute when Cesar da Costa got a touch to a pass that caught the Raja defence out of position.

Both sides had chances in the second half but tired quickly in the wet and windy conditions.
