Zamalek remain top of Group B in the Champions League after a 2-0 victory over Costa do Sol in Maputo.

Goals from Abdelhalim Ali and Walid Abdelatif secured the victory for the Egyptians that ended Costa's interest in the competition.

The Mozambique side remain bottom of the group without a point.

Trying to restore pride after a 5-0 humiliation to Asec Abidjan, they defended well for nearly an hour against the Egyptians, who were without first choice goalkeeper, Abdelmonsef, international defender Abdelhady and veteran Hossam Hassan.

But then Ali, the hat-trick hero of Zamalek's 3-1 win over Asec Abidjan in the first set of group games, popped up with the first on 59 minutes.

Barely five minutes later it was all over as Abdelatif netted the second and ensured the Egyptians stayed top of the group.
