Guernsey's Heather Watson has won the biggest title of her career with victory in the Tevlin Challenger, an ITF tournament in Toronto, Canada. The 18-year-old, who won the 2009 US Open junior title, beat Alize Lim of France 6-3 6-3 in the final. Watson, who was seeded seventh, maintained her record of never having lost a final on the senior circuit, adding to wins in Wrexham and Frinton. The victory sees Watson move into the world's top 200 for the first time. The teenager, who picked up 70 ranking points with the victory said: "I'm so excited. I was hoping to get inside the 200s. "I have had so much fun, I'm so happy with this week." Watson had earlier overcome a slow start in her semi-final to defeat America's Sloane Stephens 1-6 6-0 6-4.
