Watson won the second senior title of her career in July

Heather Watson was knocked out of the Luxembourg Open in straight sets in her first round qualifying match.

Watson faced Sabine Lisicki of Germany, who is ranked 102 in the world, who the 18-year-old Guernsey girl beat in Shrewsbury last month.

However, this time Lisicki turned the tables in Saturday's contest, winning 7-6 7-5.

Watson, who went out at the quarter-final stage of the Commonwealth Games, is currently ranked 209 in the world.
