Guernsey Rangers battled back in the second half of their debut Hampshire Cup match at Footes Lane to win 4-2 and progress to round two.
The islanders trailed 2-0 to Hamble when the whistle went for half-time.
However, a hat trick from striker Ross Allen and one goal from Commonwealth Games runner Dale Garland on the wing gave Rangers the match.
Club president Darren Ogier said: It's just brilliant, it's given everyone an amazing lift."
The island side will travel to England to play Havant & Waterlooville in the next round on Saturday, 30 October.
