Guernsey's Heather Watson and partner Christina McHale have been knocked out in the first round of the doubles at the Toronto ITF tournament. The pair lost 2-1 to number one seeds, Andreja Klepac and Marie-Eve Pelletier 5-7 6-3 [10-5]. Watson is scheduled to play American qualifier Jan Abaza in the last 16 of the women's singles on Wednesday. The Sarnian, who is the tournament's seventh seed, beat Alexandra Mueller of the USA 7-6 6-4 in the first round.
