Rangers are out of the Hampshire Cup after a second round 4-1 defeat away to Havant and Waterlooville.

The Guernsey club led 1-0 at half-time after Ryan Gontier converted an Aaron Ockleford cross.

In the second-half, four goals from the home side saw an end to a brave challenge from the island side.

"Havant are a semi-professional side -fit, strong and desperate to prove themselves - so it was very difficult," said club president Darren Ogier.

He added: "They equalised in the 61st minute and then they got the second around about the 83rd minute and then the last two goals were in extra time."
