Guernsey talks to English FA over 'bites'

Mark Le Tissier
Le Tissier said the Guernsey FA felt their concerns had to be put in writing

The Guernsey FA are asking the English FA to make a formal submission about alleged player misconduct in their final game of their Uefa Regions Cup.

Guernsey, representing England, lost to Turkish side Ankara, who allegedly bit, scratched and spat at players.

Guernsey FA chairman Mark Le Tissier said: "We feel something need to be put down in writing.

"If these incidents happen again Uefa have got a record of previous incidents and can take the appropriate action."
