Watson claimed the biggest senior title of her career at Wrexham in July

Guernsey's Heather Watson lost to Russia's Elena Chalova in the second round of the $25,000 Tallinn 2010 ITF tournament in Estonia on Thursday.

Watson, ranked 220 in the world, was defeated 6-3 6-3 by the competition's number three seed and world number 181.

Watson's had beaten China's Sheng-Nan Sun 6-2 6-1 to reach the second round.

Watson and Naomi Cavaday lost their women's doubles first round match to fellow Brit Melanie South and Finland's Emma Laine 6-4 6-3 earlier this week.
