McLuskey will represent Guersney at the Commonwealth Games in October

The Channel Islands men's tennis team have won promotion from Division Seven of the Aegon Summer County Cup.

Victories over Cumbria, the Isle of Man, Staffordshire and Wiltshire, mean the team have gained promotion with one match left to play.

The team consists of three players from Jersey and five from Guernsey, including Island Games medallists Dom McLuskey and Patrick Ogier.

The Islanders take on Shropshire in their final match on Friday.
