Jersey's Audrey Bois went down in three sets to Jolien Robinson

Jersey won a tight 2010 tennis inter insular, beating Guernsey 9-7 at home to retain the Bucktrout trophy.

The score was 6-6 going into the final four mixed doubles, and Jersey won three of them to make it three wins in as many years over Guernsey.

Jersey debutant at number one Mark Gilmour told BBC Jersey: "It was a pretty solid team performance in the end, and I'm really chuffed with it."

Jersey now lead the series 44-17, with three draws, and two rained-off.
