Nieminen turned professional in 2000

Finland's Jarkko Nieminen has won the men's title at the Caversham ATP Jersey Open at Les Ormes.

Nieminen, who is a former world number 10, beat France's Stephane Robert by two sets to one in the final of the tournament on Sunday.

Robert took the first set 6-4, before Nieminen upped his game to win the next two 6-1 7-5.

In the women's draw, Croatian Matea Mezak beat Hungary's Timea Babos 6-2 6-3 to claim the title.
