Heather Watson lost to the top seed and was eliminated from her latest US tournament on Wednesday. The 17-year-old lost 6-2 6-2 to the world number 107 Edina Gallovits on the clay courts of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida in the first round. Watson was drawn against the top seed after using her second junior exemption to skip the qualifying round. The Guernsey player will travel to her next tournament in the UK after finishing school in Florida next month.
