Heather Watson learns from loss in Miami Open

Watson, ranked 406 in the world, was given a wildcard to the event

Guernsey tennis star Heather Watson claims to have learned a lot from her experience at the biggest tournament of her career to date.

At 17 years and 10 months, Watson became the youngest British woman ever to play a main draw match at the prestigious Miami Open.

She said Great Britain's top two women players Elena Baltacha and Anne Keothavong were a great support.

Watson said: "They're great to look up as they're both such great players."

Watson lost in the first round to Bulgaria's Tsvetana Pironkova 6-4 6-2 after being given a wildcard to the event.
