Watson could meet Caroline Wozniacki in round two

Guernsey's Heather Watson will meet Tsvetana Pironkova in the first round of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami, Florida on Wednesday.

Pironkova, a qualifier for the tournament, is the world number 117.

Watson, 17, who climbed 81 places to number 406 in the latest rankings chart, made in into the draw by virtue of a wildcard.

World number two and second seed Caroline Wozniacki awaits the winner in the next round.
