Watson beat Ksenia Kirillova in the first-round in three sets

Guernsey's Heather Watson is out of the singles event at the Eddie Herr Junior Championships in Florida.

Number one seed Watson lost in the last 16 to Russia's Polina Leykina in straight sets, 6-7 4-6.

In the doubles competition, Watson and partner Magda Linette beat Cristina Dina and Ilinca Andreea Stoica 7-5 6-3 to move into the quarter-finals.

The pair will now play Belarussian Lidziya Marohzava and Polina Pekhava for a place in Friday's semi-finals.
