Argentina's Jose Acasuso won his first tour title by beating fellow countryman Franco Squillari in the Idea Prokom Open final.

Acasuso had to come from a set down to clinch the win in three sets.

"I'm very happy with today's success," the 19-year-old said.

"Winning a first ATP tournament is very important for all tennis players - you never forget the day, nor the place where it happened."

Acasuso was a surprise finalist, beating favourite Carlos Moya in two tie-break sets in the semis.

And he seemed nervous as Squillari took the first set with two breaks.

But Acasuso turned things round in the second and proved the stronger as both players struggled to find their best form in the third set.

Squillari was generous in defeat.

"I had a good start," he said. "But Jose played very well and won justly."
