Arr wants to keep Worcester Warriors starting role
Arr played for England at Under-19 and Under-20 levels
Worcester Warriors scrum-half Jonny Arr says he is enjoying getting a few starts, after becoming almost a permanent replacement for the team.
Of his first 30 appearances for the Warriors first-team, only three were starting roles.
Arr told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "You can play the game differently when you start, often games get quite frantic in the later stages.
"There is a lot more game management involved when you start the game."
He added: "It is so essential for someone in my position to get that right and it comes with the more games you play.
"I have been coming on for the last 10 or 15 minutes so it's good to get the game time under my belt."
I first played in the Under-9 team and started off as a hooker, but swiftly moved to number nine.

Arr appears to have taken over from Ryan Powell in the starting role, but says there is a healthy rivalry between those two, and third choice Ollie Frost.
"We all get on, we all push each other to work on our skills and have our own bit of banter, but there is only one shirt and that's what we are all fighting for," he added.
Arr is a local boy, having played for his school, the Worcester Royal Gramma,r on the Sixways pitch.
"It's special and it's something I want to do more and more of. I used to come and watch every Saturday so it's good to run out at Sixways for the home town clubs.
"During the week I get a bit nervous, and I am probably not the nicest person to be around at home, I get a bit cranky but come game day I am usually OK.
"In preparing you want to get things right and nerves get to me then, but by the time we warm up on the pitch I am OK."
Arr scored his first ever Premiership try in the recent draw at Gloucester and is one of many at Sixways who have come through the club's youth and academy system.
"I first played in the Under-9 team, I started off as a hooker, but swiftly moved to number nine," he said.
Arr's father Dave played in the front-row for the Worcester club in the old amateur days. He still helps to run the Wanderers side and son Jonny says they often talk about the game.
"He is just an avid fan of Worcester, so he is always interested in what is going on, and I fill in him with the details when I can," Arr continued.
"I never saw him play but that is going back a long time, maybe that is a good thing."
