Reynolds was impressed with Guernsey's energy against Cornish |
Guernsey Rugby Club bounced back from a defeat at Old Reigatian to beat London Cornish and remain three points clear at the top of London Two South West. The Sarnians fought back from a 16-0 deficit in the first half to secure a 26-16 win at home to Cornish. Coach Jordan Reynolds said: "There seemed to be more energy in the side and we took the storm out of them. "There was a fair bit of focus before the game, it's something we've been lacking for the last couple of months." Reynolds remains optimistic for his side's penultimate fixture of the season, a home match against closest rivals Guildford on 12 March. "They're in a do or die state, they're only three behind us and they know if they lose to us it may be the end of their chances," he said. Guernsey's recent mixed form has seen them lose three out of their last six games.
