The four teams for Guernsey's inaugural Twenty20 Premier League have been decided at an auction. Each team was given a budget of 25 million Guernsey Cricket Board dollars to spend. Ross Kneller was the most expensive player, signing for Mourant Ozannes for 8.3m. Cenkos will be captained by 6.6m signing Jeremy Frith, while GH Smith skippers Wave Telecom, with Stuart Le Provost in charge of BDO. Lee Savident is the final team captain, chosen to lead Mourant Ozannes. Former England internationals Shaun Udal (Cenkos) and James Kirtley (BDO) are also included in the tournament. The GPL opens on Friday, 3 June when Wave Telecom host Cenkos.
