A late try from Moseley centre Jack Pons denied the Cornish Pirates a third consecutive league win.

The Pirates took an early lead through a Carl Rimmer try, before two tries from full-back Anthony Carter put Moseley 12-8 in front at the break.

Moseley extended their lead with a Andy Reay try, before scores from Nick Jackson and Phil Burgess put the Pirates 26-19 in front.

With the game in injury time, Pons then squeezed over to level the scores.
