Samurai International have won the inaugural UK National Seven Series finishing top of the standings after the fourth and final leg in Newquay. The British Army were the winners on the day in Newquay, beating White Hart Marauders 29-7 in the final. Samurai International were knocked out in the semi-finals by White Hart, losing a tight game 12-7. Despite the Army's win they were unable to score enough points to overtake Samurai at the top. Third place went to HFW Wailers, while While Hart Marauders ended the Series in fourth. Rugby sevens will feature at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro for the first time.
