Over 104 teams from across Britain competed at the second Newquay International Rugby Sevens tournament.

Tournament director Andy Hawken said: "The 104 teams competed in a festival of rugby and so far, without exception all teams want to come back."

The Men's Open competition was won by the Akuma Smurfs, while the Wooden Spoon Ladies defended their 2008 title.
