Jersey guaranteed promotion for next season by sealing the National League Three London and South East title with a hard-fought 16-14 win at Hertford.

Jersey led 16-7 with just 10 minutes remaining, with all their points coming from fly-half Dan Hawkes.

But Hertford scored a late converted try but the visitors held out.

Jersey coach Ben Harvey told BBC Jersey: "What a season it's been. And there are still games to go. I'm very proud of the lads."
