Spee has Heineken Cup experience to call upon

Moseley have signed full-back Reece Spee after his decision to leave cash-strapped Birmingham & Solihull.

Spee, 31, has joined the exodus from Sharman's Cross Road as the Bees try to stave off liquidation.

The New Zealander has previously played for Hawke's Bay, Ulster and Belfast Harlequins.

"We've been admiring his capabilities for some seasons now - he will improve the depth in our squad," said Moseley assistant coach Don Caskie.

Spee made 88 appearances for the Bees over three full seasons with the club, crossing the line 34 times.

He joins Moseley as a European-qualified player as he holds a Dutch passport.
