Trinder has started against Scotland and Samoa |
Moseley centre Henry Trinder has been named in the England Under-20s side for their World Championship semi-final against South Africa on Wednesday. Dual-registered with Premiership side Gloucester, the 20-year old scored twice in the first ten minutes in the final pool match against Samoa. Trinder was on the wing for Moseley for their EDF energy National Trophy final win over Leeds at Twickenham in April. He will return to Billesley Common for the new Championship season. After starting the tournament on the replacements bench for the opening win over hosts Japan, Trinder has made coach Mark Mapletoft's starting line-up to face Scotland and Samoa. Should England overcome South Africa at the Prince Chichibu Stadium in the semi-finals, they will meet the winners of the game between New Zealand and Australia in Saturday's final.
