Leeds flanker Calum Clark is captain of the England Under-20 team
Leeds Carnegie are now more determined than ever to win National League One.
Leeds lost their unbeaten record with successive defeats at both Doncaster and Bedford to let Exeter Chiefs back into the race for promotion.
But, after beating Nottingham to reach Twickenham in the EDF Trophy, they are back on course in the league too with a 33-9 weekend win over Cornish Pirates.
"The last few weeks have refocused us and made us more determined," flanker Calum Clark told BBC Radio Leeds.
"We have a point to prove that we are still in business and are still very much pushing for that title."
Leeds now lead Exeter by four points with four games left, having claimed a four-try bonus point when they astonishingly ran in three tries in injury time, the last of which was recorded on 91 minutes.
Coming just seven days after Rob Vickerman's try eight minutes into stoppage time earned Leeds their last-ditch 14-13 Trophy semi-final win over Nottingham, Sunday's latest victory showed that Leeds still have the bit between their teeth.
"The last two games have shown we still have the belief, confidence and power to go on and win the league and get back to the Premiership," said Clark.
"The work-rate and effort of this side is great and these tries in injury time are showing our attitude and strong mentality.
"From a personal point of view I haven't won anything in the game yet after the disappointment of losing to Ireland in the Under-20s Six Nations with England.
"I now have three things to focus on, the upcoming World Cup with England, and the league and Trophy with Leeds.
"I haven't won any of them yet so I'm certainly not resting on what I've done so far."
