Double importance for Moseley tie

Exeter Chiefs

Exeter Chiefs' National Trophy semi-final on Saturday, 21 March will double up as the National One league encounter between the two sides.

Both clubs have agreed that the result of the match will stand in both competitions and have had approval from the RFU and FDR.

The Chiefs will be selling 200 tickets ahead of the game at Billesley Common.

The money earned from the sales will offset Exeter's loss of gate receipts from the Trophy match.

Moseley and the Chiefs have both had games postponed due to the snowy conditions earlier this year and the decision to bring the two matches together will help ease fixture congestion between now and the end of the season.
