Drewett has guided Exeter to Twickenham in the last two seasons |
Exeter Chiefs director of rugby Pete Drewett says he is delighted to have the chance to guide his side to Twickenham for a third year in-a-row. Like in the last 16, Chiefs needed a late penalty from Gareth Steenson to beat Doncaster and make the draw. "I'm really delighted that the lads now have this opportunity to play in the semi-final," Drewett told BBC Devon. Exeter avoided high-flying Leeds and Nottingham in the National Trophy draw and will travel to Moseley. "It makes for what should be a great weekend of rugby," Drewett said. "All four sides have played well all season, it should be special and I'm just really pleased we're there and have the opportunity to get to Twickenham again."
