Ryan Westren scored a try in ether half for Launceston

Launceston came back from conceding an early try to beat Blaydon at Polson Bridge in National League Two.

Brendan Daniel's converted try earned the visitors first blood before Ryan Westren and Jon Fabian crossed to earn the All Blacks a 10-7 interval lead.

Rob Kalbraier's try put Blaydon back in front at 12-10 before two Adam Staniforth penalties made it 16-12.

Westren got his second try near the end to make it 23-12 before the Blaydon pack rallied with a late pushover try.

That came in the 13th minute of stoppage time - and it was too late to prevent a Launceston victory, cementing their hold on fifth place in National Two.
