Launceston's influential second row forward Tim Collier has left the National Two club by mutual consent.

The 31-year-old joined at the end of 2007 on loan from Premiership side Worcester Warriors and completed a permanent move seven months ago.

Collier has been targeted by several Premiership and National One clubs.

"Tim goes with our best wishes. He wants to pursue other options that are available to him," joint head coach Chris Brown told BBC Cornwall.

Collier made 22 appearances for Launceston, scoring two tries in the process.

"Tim's presence will be missed but he goes with our best wishes," added Brown, who says he will not be actively looking to bring in a replacement.

"We're very happy with the depth that we have in that area," he said.
