Darren Jacques is part of the England Counties squad
Three Cornish rugby players have been called up to the England Counties side to face Ireland and France.
Josh Lord and Mike Mysercough from Launceston join Redruth's Darren Jacques in the 25-man squad.
Jacques, who has been selected before, told BBC Radio Cornwall it will be "awesome" second time around.
"I'm absolutely over the moon and it's a good bit of recognition for the fact that we've played well as a team all season," he said.
The current England Counties squad is made up of semi-professional players from National League Two or below.
The Counties side are first in action against an Ireland Clubs XV on Friday, 27 February, before entertaining France Amateurs at Twickenham on Saturday, 15 March.
Jacques said that playing for England Counties is "absolutely unbelievable" and that it "makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck."
Later in the year the Counties XV break new ground with a three-match tour to Korea and Japan, beginning on 1 June.
