Guernsey are now without a win in their last four games

Guernsey lost their fourth game in a row in London South West Division Three as they went down 23-19 at Guildford.

The defeat at the hands of the Surrey side means they are still eighth in the table, but any outside hopes of gaining promotion are all but gone.

They are four points off seventh-placed London South Africa and three points away from the drop zone.

Guernsey will hope to start 2009 with a flourish as they host bottom side KCS Old Boys on Saturday, 10 January.
