Wigan Warriors have confirmed forward Lee Mossop requires surgery on a shoulder injury and will miss the rest of the season. Mossop, 21, dislocated his shoulder in May and aggravated the problem playing for Warriors Under-20s at the weekend. Coach Michael Maguire told the club's website: "We all hoped he would be OK to see the season out but that is not the case. "It is so unlucky for him that he will miss the end of season run-in."
