Old Trafford has hosted Test cricket since 1884

Lancashire will play more than half of their home fixtures in next year's County Championship at Liverpool while Old Trafford undergoes redevelopment.

Blackpool and Southport will also host at least one game each.

England's one-day international against Sri Lanka and Twenty20 game with India, along with most of Lancashire's one-day games will stay at Old Trafford.

The redevelopment plans include new player and media facilities, permanent floodlights and rotating the square.
